NSW Farmers Quad bike safety rebate

July 15, 2020

The NSW Quad Bike Safety Improvement Program offers rebates that will give eligible farmers and their workers up to $2,000 to implement harm prevention measures in the workplace. This program is funded by SafeWork NSW.

One of the biggest drawcards for our customers upgrading from a Quad to a Side By Side Polaris Ranger is the rebate offered by SafeWork NSW. Eligible customers are able to claim up to $1000 for each agricultural side-by-side vehicle (SSV) or up to $2000 for agricultural SSV purchased after 1 October 2019.

This is a very easy process with Polaris Australia becoming an authorised dealer to offer the rebate at Point Of Sale. Instead of paying us the full amount for your new Side By Side, we are able to discount up front. We complete the paperwork with you and make then we make the rebate claim. It really saves the hassle of paying the $2,000 upfront, completing the paperwork and waiting for your refund from SafeWork NSW.

The Eligibility criteria is listed below as taken from the NSW Farmers website:

If you are eligible and wish to qualify for the rebate, you are required to attend an eligible educative interaction prior to the purchase of a Side By Side. There are a few options:

  • Online Webinar
  • Attendance at an eligible safety event by SafeWork NSW, such as; Farm Safety Day, Agricultural Field Day and/or a Safety Advisory Visit with a member of SafeWork NSW.

The most common option most of our customers do is to complete the webinar online. This can be accessed at the following link:

If you complete the webinar, and wish to make a purchase of an eligible Agricultural Side By Side with us, there is no need to download an application form to complete. We help with all of the paperwork at Point Of Sale. Simply complete the webinar and forward us a copy of the Certificate you receive on email at completion.
